Tree Relocation from Aquia Creek Lane

Posted: April 19, 2018 at 12:33 pm, Last Updated: September 26, 2018 at 9:24 am

In preparation for the Campus Core project utility work, trees along Aquia Creek Lane near Thompson Hall will be removed from April 21–22 and transplanted to other locations on the Fairfax Campus. Since the existing trees were planted only a few years ago as part of improvements to Aquia Creek Lane, they will be moved to other areas on campus that will be undisturbed during the Campus Core project.

At the completion of the utility work in this area, replacement trees will be added to the disturbed areas along Aquia Creek Lane.
