Parking and Traffic Advisory: SciTech Campus, Jan. 14–16

Partial Road Closure: George Mason Circle

George Mason Circle will be closed starting at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and all day on Wednesday, Jan. 15, from Edwin King Lane to the first Freedom Center parking lot entrance while a crane moves on site for the Colgan Hall cooling tower replacement (located on the roof of Katherine G. Johnson Hall).

Access to the Freedom Center parking lot and Bull Run parking lot will only be available via the Freedom Center Boulevard north entrance. See map for details. Contact Chris Maier, Project Manager, at 703-993-2957 or cmaier2@gmu.edu with questions.

Large Events at Hylton Center: Jan. 16 

Expect heavy traffic on the SciTech Campus during large events at the Hylton Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Jan. 16. Traffic will be heaviest between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The Hylton parking lot and Tower parking lot are expected to fill with event parking. The Freedom Center parking lot will be available for overflow parking. Drivers should allow additional travel time to and from campus. For questions or concerns, contact SciTech Parking Services at 703-993-4808.
