Road Closures during Victims’ Rights Run/Walk

Some roads will close on the Fairfax Campus on Thursday, April 11, for the 23rd Annual Victims’ Rights 5k Run/Walk (VRRW). The race begins at noon in front of Merten Hall, followed by a ceremony on the Merten Hall lawn. Closures are as follows:

  • Campus Drive westbound between Patriot Circle and Rapidan River Road (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • Chesapeake River Lane (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • George Mason Boulevard between University Drive and Patriot Circle (11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.)
  • Merten Hall visitor parking lot (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • Patriot Circle between George Mason Boulevard and Rappahannock River Lane (11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.)
  • Patriot Circle will have intermittent lane closures during the race.
