Parking and Traffic Impacts: VetsAid Concert, Sept. 20

Posted: September 20, 2017 at 9:37 am

On Wednesday, September 20, between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and after the concert at 11 p.m., expect heavy traffic on and around campus, particularly on Braddock Road and in the general lots surrounding EagleBank Arena.

At 4:30 p.m., levels 4 and 5 of Shenandoah Deck will be open as overflow event and general student and faculty/staff parking. It is highly recommended to avoid Braddock Road and enter campus off University Drive, utilizing parking in the Rappahannock River Deck on Wednesday night. The roof of Rappahannock River Deck will be open as overflow general parking after 4:30 p.m.

Featuring a number of well-known artists, the VetsAid concert at EagleBank Arena begins at 6:30 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.
