Posted: December 20, 2019 at 9:22 am

Faculty and staff are advised of the following impacts on the Fairfax Campus during winter break and early January because of ongoing Core Campus Project construction.

Rivanna River Way will be closed from Dec. 21 through Jan. 11. Vehicle access to David King Hall, the Hub, and Southside will be available via Sandy Creek Way. The service road behind Exploratory Hall will be temporarily converted to two-way traffic.

Sidewalks around Skyline and Southside will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 14 while utilities cross under the Skyline breezeway. An accessible sidewalk will be open between Tidewater and Skyline for east-west travel. Entrance to Skyline will be available from the Commons side only. The stairs between the Hub and Southside, and the Southside entrance, will remain open.
