Traffic Advisory: High School Graduations at EagleBank Arena, June 9 – 21

Posted: June 7, 2017 at 6:00 am, Last Updated: June 6, 2017 at 7:04 pm

During the month of June, high school graduations are taking place at EagleBank Arena. Each ceremony  lasts approximately two hours and attendance can range from 2,000 to 6,000.

Be prepared for heavier traffic, up to 90 minutes, prior to each ceremony and allow more time to drive to and from campus. Traffic is primarily busiest along Braddock Road but location of the graduating high school influences the direction from which traffic approaches campus.

Mason faculty, staff, and students are advised to use the Rappahannock River Parking Deck or the Field House parking lots to avoid traffic. Shenandoah Parking Deck Levels 4 and 5 will be open for limited overflow student, employee, and event parking during the weekdays when graduations are occurring.
