After 12 months of research, Mason recently completed its largest and most extensive traffic and transportation study, identifying approximately $116 million of potential infrastructure and transportation program investments.

At the most recent Capital Projects meeting held at Mason, a familiar topic reappeared on the agenda – the construction of a university-based retirement community. The community was once a hot topic, but never fully materialized. Recently, the idea has garnered more chatter.
