Mason is having the water levels of Mason Pond closely monitored because the university is concerned about whether the pond has too much or not enough water. Too much sediment buildup calls for “dredging,” which means smelly times on campus.

The Mason Pond Drive “connector road” (the road that passes by the Mason Inn connecting Rte 123 to Patriot Circle) will be open to all traffic by the end of October; as early as the 26th.

The new Engineering Building will officially open its doors at the grand opening ceremony this Friday, October 2.
