Campus Drive: Intermittent Lane Closure – April 25

On Saturday, April 25 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., drivers can expect brief intermittent lane closures on Campus Drive while crews re-stripe faded areas of the roadway. For questions, contact Parking and Transportation at 703-993-2828.

On Saturday, April 18, Campus Drive opened, connecting the east and west portions of the Fairfax Campus.  Along the road is a 12 foot-wide shared use path for pedestrians and bicycles. On Wednesday, April 15, the traffic light at the intersection of Braddock Road and Campus Drive will be activated as a flashing yellow light and will continue in this state until the road opens. On Saturday, April 18, Campus Drive will open around 2:30 p.m. for access and the light will become fully functional.

Construction Update: Fenwick Sidewalk Relocation

As of March 9, the sidewalks on the East side (facing the residence halls) and West side (facing the Robinson buildings) have been rerouted for continued construction on the Fenwick addition. The modifications are projected to remain in place until April 10 for the East side and May 22 for the West side. A visual diagram is provided: Fenwick Sidewalk Relocation.
