Patriot Circle Open to Traffic
Mason Pond Parking Deck
The Mason Pond Parking Deck (across from Harris Theater) will be closed intermittently to install new gates and equipment for the reconfiguration and upgrade of the deck. During this time it is best to use the Mason Pond Dr. entrance/exit to the deck.
In addition to the work zone, there are new traffic patterns in the Mason Pond Deck, so use extra caution until the reconfiguration is complete.
Construction Factoid
Mason, in the midst of its largest structural transformation will invest more than $500 million in construction between 2002 and 2013. Additional buildings and construction projects on the university's master plan include
- multiple cutting-edge academic buildings
- an all-encompassing residential community
- a hotel and conference center, Fairfax Campus
